The Canadian Gaming Association (CGA) predicts this will be a very busy Global Gaming Expo (G2E) for Canadians as there is no shortage of activity across the provinces. Acquisitions, mergers, innovative platforms and technologies, investments in infrastructure and development – it is truly an extraordinary time to be a Canadian company in the global gaming industry.
Changing regulations and attitudes towards gaming have opened access to new markets, and Canadian companies are sought out the world over for their products and expertise. The inventive thinking extends to the groundbreaking impact made by companies such as NRT Technologies and Avigilon.
More than 17 companies are signed up as exhibitors at G2E, including Amaya Gaming, whose recent acquisition of the Rational Group and its marquis brands PokerStars and Full Tilt has put Pointe-Claire, Quebec on the map. Blueberi, DEQ, Tangam Systems, Carmanah Signs and others that will all be on site promoting the best in Canadian gaming.
G2E always attracts an impressive collection of industry leaders in the show’s history, many of who will attend the “CGA@G2E” reception on October 1 at the Michael Mina restaurant in the Bellagio from 5-7pm.
Based on the interest in what the Canadians are up to, we expect this to be a well-attended event. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas – have a successful G2E!
