Bob Parente

Robert J. Parente is the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer for Light and Wonder, Gaming Division. In this role, Mr. Parente oversees strategic business development with key industry partners as well as advancing the Company’s overall growth in emerging gaming markets.

A respected industry veteran with over 27 years of gaming experience, Mr. Parente joined Bally Technologies in 2009, which was acquired by Scientific Games/Light and Wonder in 2014, and previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.

Prior to joining Bally Technologies, Mr. Parente held senior leadership roles in both the gaming and tech industries. Mr. Parente held the position of Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Mikohn Gaming/Progressive in Las Vegas, Nevada, and senior management roles for three high-tech companies based in California.

Mr. Parente is the President of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers, serves the Canadian Gaming Association as Board Emeritus, and is a Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America, Las Vegas Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth; completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Nevada, Reno; and completed the Enrichment Seminars Business Program at Brown University in Providence, R.I. He also holds a U.S. patent in the gaming field for configurable gaming devices with player selectable award profiles.
