Promoting Careers in the Gaming Industry:
CGA and University of Guelph are partnering to promote work opportunities for University of Guelph co-op students studying in the Bachelor of Computing and Bachelor of Commerce programs. Through the university’s co-op program, students are available for 4- or 8-month work placements (program dependent).
The CGA is excited to share this opportunity to our members and encourage students to consider careers in the gaming industry. There are employer tax credits and wage subsidies available to employers. Learn More.
Deadline Approaching for ACGO Engagement Opportunities with iGaming Stakeholders:
Since the launch of the Ontario igaming market, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (ACGO) has identified emerging and potential risks. To address these risks and to ensure the Registrar’s Standards remain relevant, the AGCO is hosting a new engagement opportunity to gain stakeholder input from all interested parties (including responsible gambling and public health organizations, prospective and current igaming operators, organizations from gaming related industries, and sport governing bodies).

- Draft Amendments to the Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming for Transition Out of the Unregulated Market
